ADMINISTRATION OF ESTATES

How is an estate dealt with when someone dies ?

Is there a Will ?

  • If there is a Will

It may be necessary to obtain a Grant of Probate of that Will at the Probate Registry and the deceased's estate will then be dealt with in accordance with their wishes.

  • If there is not a Will ?

The deceased will have died intestate, and we will advise on who is entitled to the estate and on obtaining a Grant of Letters of Administration.

Whichever way the estate is to be dealt with from the initial advice through to the distribution to beneficiaries we can offer you a fast and effective service.

Unlike many Solicitors :-

  • most of our work in this area is charged on "a time basis"
  • in some instances a fixed fee can be arranged
  • we do not normally base our charges on the value of their estate.

We have an experienced team of Solicitors to help you and our computerised system ensures that estate accounts are available at any time so you can check on what progress is being made.
